How do I clean my bag?
This depends on the type of material your bag is made from. For our waxed cotton bags, please see the care guide reel on instagram.
Due to the nature of wool fabric for our other bags, we recommend that if the outer needs cleaning you hand wash with lukewarm water and non-biological liquid. Lay the product to dry flat and keep away from direct heat.
If the outer isn’t dirty on either fabrics, then we recommend just wiping out the waterproof liner with a damp cloth with soapy water.
Can I recycle your packaging?
Yes. All our packaging is fully recycled and recyclable, we use plant-based inks and avoid plastic and waste wherever possible.
The string used to tie our parcels is wool from responsibly reared Dartmoor sheep.
We source our materials predominantly from with the UK and select more sustainable options and providers where possible.
Why aren’t your Harris Tweed bags supplied with a Harris Tweed label?
Because we use small remnants, off-cuts and craft pieces for our collection we do not meet the minimum quantity requirements to apply for additional labels from the Harris Tweed authority. We have chosen to rescue these offcuts to reduce material entering landfill in addition have introduced our beautiful patchwork bags to further reduce waste.
